Why do you want to know about me? Is it because I lead a super interesting life or are you just bored and surfing the net? I figured it was the latter. In any case, here are some things about me you might not of known. There is more on my myspace page. Check it out!
1. I grew up in a small town of 600 in Missouri, Southwest City. I'm not really small town minded though. Both my parents are from big cities and I traveled a lot as a kid. It was a good place to grow up though. There wasn't much to do but I got by with my creativity....LOL! Right!
2. I was a huge basketball player in high school and captain of the McDonald County Mustangs my senior year. I actually went to college, Evangel University, to play college ball but hurt my ankle before the season started and decided that I wasn't ever going to go to the NBA and decided to concentrate on my future career instead. In the end it paid off. I still play often though. Gotta love basketball!
3. I graduated from Evangel University in 2003, it only took me 3 1/2 years and I didn't even try to graduate early it just happened. While in college I worked behind the scenes of a Sci-Fi channel movie as the EPK guy, Electronic Press Kit. All I did was interview the actors for the dvd. It was good times. I was also in a band in college, Not From London/The Look. We were huge! Well, in our own minds. We did play a lot though. You can check out some of our songs here http://www.soundclick.com/thelook
4. I was on the 2005 season of American Idol. I tried out in St. Louis and made it to Hollywood and ended up getting cut in the top 80. It was a great experience though. I met Carrie Underwood and we actually flew out to Hollywood together and became good friends while we were there, not to say that we are now since she is to famous for me. I also met Mario Vasquez and hung out with him a lot. Had a great time and made a lot of friends, Jessica Sierra, Jamie Paul Koehler just to name a couple. I love to perform and sing though. This experience on Idol led to a bunch of other opportunities for me, like being on Hot Mix 101.9. Blessing or a curse? LOL!
This was a really funny movie. It starts out with fake trailors and that really sets the tone for the rest of the movie. I actually believed that Robert Downey Jr. was a black man. He is such a good actor that if you didn't know who he was there would never be a doubt that he wasn't black. Funny stuff! It also made me wanna watch "Simple Jack". Watch the movie and you will get that joke.
The Dark Knight
Christian Bale returns as the Caped Crusader to protect Gotham City from the mad criminal mastermind known as the Joker.
The movie of the summer! Long but amazing! Non-stop action! The new darker Batman series has proved to be better than the first series. This movie has a little of everything. It's so good! If you haven't seen it you are in the minority and need to get out there and watch it. Heath Ledger lived up to all the hype and so did the movie. Watch it!
Pineapple Express
Seth Rogen and James Franco are stoners who go on the run after witnessing a murder by a crooked cop and a dangerous drug lord.
If you like getting high then you will like this. If you don't like getting high you will like this as well, just not as much. It was funny, in parts. The typical pot movie filled with drug jokes and chaos. Not a bad movie but the funniest part was at the very end. Wait to rent it.
Step Brothers
Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly are middle-aged, overgrown boys who become step brothers when their parents get married.
Freakin' hilarious! This is the funniest movie I've seen in a long time! I saw it in the theatres on the day it came out and then two or three more times at home on my computer. I know, I'm a thief. It's that good though. I love this comedy team and I'm a huge fan of anything Will Ferrell does. This was non-stop laughter for me. I start laughing just thinking about it. "Boats and hoes!"
WALL-E
After years of doing what he was built
for, a lonely robot discovers what he was meant for, and chases his
dream across the galaxy.
I'm not much into robot cartoons or sad robots in general since seeing "Short Circuit" in the 80's but I have to say that this movie was pretty good. Great animation and a very good story. Give it a watch when it comes out on video.
Hancock
Will Smith is an unpopular superhero whose well-intentioned but destructive heroics put him in need of some serious PR.
Will Smith always delivers and this movie was no exception. Good story and a great character for him. It was cool, fun, and dramatic all in one. Also pretty funny as well. I wonder if they will make a Hancock 2? We shall see!
Kung Fu Panda
A clumsy panda is chosen by an ancient prophecy to become a kung fu master and save the land from a gang of snow leopards.
All the funny parts of this movie were in the trailors. It was okay. I expected more honestly. I'm a Jack Black fan but this was just his voice. It's an okay movie if you don't have anything else to watch and I didn't. LOL!
This movie was pretty awesome! Great action and special effects. Even if you aren't an Angelina Jolie fan you will like this movie, especially the end. Fun movie. Watch it!
These are all the movies I've seen that have come out this summer. Go watch one! You will be glad you did!
I Love PIZZA!

I love PIZZA! I absolutely love it! I think I could eat it every day for the rest of my life, no problem.
After softball practice last night my brother and I along with some of the players went to MAD Pizza in Rogers, close to my house, and had us some pizza buffet. If you haven't been there, and this is in no way an endorsement, you need to go. It's fun and good! They have a normal buffet with a twist. You can order any pizza off the menu for the buffet and they will bring it right to you before they put it on the buffet for everyone. It's so awesome! Especially since they have tons of unique styles of pizza. My favorite is Buffalo Chicken! Yummy! Or a Tator Pizza! Or BBQ Pizza! All so awesome! Me and my brother always have a field day when we are there.
There was really no point to this post other than to tell you how much I love pizza. BTW, I've eaten at MAD Pizza twice this week. Give it a try!
New Couch!

As soon as I got back from vacation last week I moved into a new house. Fun times! Moving sucks!
I moved in with my brother who just got his first job teaching this year. We got a nice, new house in Rogers, which I found out is by a lot of people I know. Crazy! So, we got moved in and have been without a couch all week. That was, until yesterday! We could of gotten any couch at any time but my brother and I are kinda picky and want the coolest and most modern, we are kinda into interior designing and stuff. It took us a month to find the paintings we wanted to buy to put on the walls. My brother and I were fed up with sitting in the floor to watch tv though so we went out and finally found us a couch at Big Lots. It happened to be the same couch we saw at another store that we almost bought but at Big Lots it was $200 less. Oh yeah! My brother and I are bargain finders!
So yeah, I got a sweet "L" shaped, modern, light tan couch in my living room that is so comfy. If you wanna come check it out just let me know. ;)

I'll be gone on vacation this next week and I'll be in fabulous Las Vegas! YAY! This will be my fourth time to go and I'm sure the best time yet. I'm going with my brother and a couple of his friends, we are staying at the Planet Hollywood Hotel, so we will be sure and get a lot of hot girls and win a lot of cash, at least that's the plan! I'll let everyone know the full details when I get back. Miss me!
